TELEMAR and CPqD Sign New Contract for Providing Software and Services
in Telecom and IT Solutions
(San Jose, CA; April 5th, 2002) – CPqD has just announced it has signed a
contract worth over US$26 Million with TELEMAR, the largest
telecommunications company in Latin America, providing services to over 18
Million wireline subscribers.
Through this contract, CPqD will provide services to TELEMAR in areas
such as: project consultancy, technical analysis and testing, laboratory
analysis, conformance, training, systems customization and license of
several modules of CPqD's OSS/BSS suites, including Billing, Switching
Management, Workforce Management, Outside Plant Management and IP Access
Management.
